I have been traveling with Koning DayTours for over ten years.  During that time I have taken dozens of wonderful trips and have enjoyed every one of them.  I am most impressed with the planning that goes into each trip.  Restaurants are always excellent, accommodations are always superb, theatre seats are always great, plus the drivers and escorts are simply the best.  It is a pleasure to deal with the office staff as everyone is always most helpful with answers to my questions.  With airline travel becoming increasingly unpleasant lately, traveling by bus has become an easy way to go.  I can pack anything and also leave things on the bus.  I took fifteen trips with Koning last year and plan to take at least a dozen more this year.  For the price, Koning can't be beat!

Many years ago my sister, Meryl Hanley, was teaching and then directing a Teacher Learning Center in West Irondequoit.  She used to find places of interest for the teachers involved that would present educational, historical and uplifting entertainment periodically.  Trips to these places were suggested to her friend, Sharon Koning, and Sharon's company, Koning DayTours, Inc., took the ball and ran with it, creating the perfect arrangements for the teachers to experience those places.

Some time later a friend and I began planning excursions far and wide and I remembered my sister's satisfaction with Koning DayTours.  When our favorite Group Tour Leader/Planner joined this Company, we followed right along and have just completed 25 years, most with Koning DayTours.  We have been very happy to inform over 500 would-be passengers annually with suggestions of our own as well as those of Sharon and Liz Gonyo for our group tours, both day trips and multiple-day journeys.

Information gathering has grown from a telephone call, an e-mail, mailed folders and the website.  However we get the news, we are ready to travel with Koning DayTours -----------anywhere!

We enjoy traveling with DayTours because of the variety and competitive prices of the various trips they offer with each brochure they send out.  Also the knowledge and friendliness of each of their tour guides makes for an enjoyable trip.

Our first trip with DayTours was in 2001 at the urging of my Aunt.  We went on an extended trip to Myrtle Beach and were only disappointed by the weather.  Since then we have enjoyed both one-day and extended trips.  The attention to detail and client comfort and care is what makes DayTours so exceptional.   We have traveled with at least three other tour groups (one which is a well known national chain)  and ALWAYS return to DayTours.  Our philosophy is this.....you can try the rest, but you will always come back to the best!

Our first coach trip with DayTours was in 1999 when we went to Mackinac Island, Michigan.  Since that time, we have traveled to Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pensylvania, Indiana, Michigan and around our great State.  Mackinac Island remains our favorite as we have been there four times since 1999.

All of the places where we stayed were top-notch with wonderful meals and great attractions and entertainment with each trip.

All expenses are covered with one price - escorts, taxes, gratuities, etc.  The luggage is taken from the coach to the rooms on arrival and put back on the coach on departure.

We have also taken numerous one-day trips that were equally enjoyable.

Taking a coach trip with DayTours is a good way to make new friends, relax, enjoy the scenery and leave the driving to the courteous and friendly driver.
